At its 10th anniversary event, Kojima Productions unveiled a teaser trailer for the previously announced Death Stranding anime film, now with the working title of Death Stranding Mosquito.
Although the details for the film remain scarce, the trailer for Death Stranding Mosquito maintains the characteristic haunting and somber visuals from the game. In the clip, a raw martial arts battle between two unidentified characters is showcased. According to the appearance, one character resembles a porter, similar to Sam Porter Bridges in the game. At the same time, the other character features an eerie, mosquito-like mask made of tar, the same supernatural substance appearing throughout the game.
In addition to the trailer, details regarding the staff of Death Stranding Mosquito have also been shared. Directed by Hiroshi Miyamoto and written by Aaron Guzikowski, the animation is now being produced by ABC Animation Studio.
