Summary
- Gunna confirms that a joint album with Offset is “in the works”
- The highly anticipated project follows multiple teasings and collaborations
- The duo plans to “space it out” after their recent solo albums
The highly anticipated duo of Gunna and Offset are cooking up a joint album.
During the recent The Last Wun live session at Apple Music Studios, Ebro Darden spoke with Gunna about a joint project with Offset. In the conversation, Gunna confirmed, “Definitely. Yes, it’s in the works.” He then explained their plan: “But I, like, we spacing it out. You know, he dropped his album, I dropped my album. I was on his, he was on mine. And I feel like that was sprinkles and breadcrumbs for us to give you that meal soon.”
Rumors began in October of last year when Offset previewed records featuring both Gunna and himself in an Instagram Live. He teased the joint project further in February during an interaction with fans on X, and the duo even performed together at Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash in June.
Their ongoing collaboration continues to their 2025 solo albums, with Offset featured on “At My Purest” from The Last Wun, and Gunna appears on “Different Species” from Kiari: Offset. In the past, they’ve also teamed up on tracks, such as “Prada Dem,” “Style Rare,” “Beat the Case” and “Wild Wild West.”
