One of the few protesters rallying against the thousands of attendees at Charlie Kirk’s funeral is a practicing Muslim and self-proclaimed transgender anarchist with an Antifa membership.

Sumayyah Dawud, an apparent professional protester known for holding solo demonstrations across Arizona, showed up bright and early at Kirk’s Sunday memorial and was captured waving a Palestine flag with the Black Lives Matter logo.

Dawud and a handful of other protesters outside Kirk’s funeral brandished a confusing array of signage, including some in support of Palestine, others demonizing President Trump, and one dubbing the small encampment the “Satanic Society.”

“Go back to Europe, colonizer. This is stolen indigenous land,” Dawud was captured telling protesters, as reported by Fox News Digital.

The group, barely consisting of enough people to fill a classroom, camped out through the end of the funeral.

They were bizarrely stationed across from other agitators with the Westboro Baptist Church, which famously has congregants attend high-profile funerals to denounce homosexuality and Judaism even if the deceased had no connections to either identity.

Dawud, though, was quick to bash the mourners who snapped at the protesters’ flagrant disrespect towards the high-profile politicians in attendance.

“Some of the most hateful people spotted outside the Charlie Kirk event this morning,” Dawud wrote on Instagram alongside some photos he took of their protest camp.

He also highlighted the piles of trash people left while they were lining up to enter the stadium, using it as a moment to call out the “sad example of how gluttonous & wasteful ‘America’ is including how trashy members of the ‘patriotic’ right-wing can be.”

Dawud previously shared posts celebrating Kirk’s gruesome demise, writing that he was “praying that he dies” and that the slain conservative’s “preferred pronouns” were “updated to was/were.”

He is a self-proclaimed member of Antifa, according to his Instagram. The far-left anti-fascist philosophical group was designated as “a major terrorist organization” on Monday.

In 2024, Dawud was arrested for participating in an encampment protest for Palestine at Arizona State University and was briefly banned from the campus until his charges were dropped in May, according to his Instagram.

Dawud was also banned from his mosque in 2015 under the condition that he either attend dressed as a man or provide medical documentation to prove that he is anatomically female, as reported by the Phoenix New Times.

His driver’s license and US Passport were changed to state she was legally female in 2013, though it’s unclear when he officially transitioned.

Dawud converted to Islam in 2013 and had little issues attending religious services until other members filed complaints with the mosque’s leadership when he started to pray in the women’s section, according to the report.
