Turkish designer Dilara Fındıkoğl is known for her highly detailed, punk-infused couture looks. However, this season, she took her brand into new territory – both aesthetically and commercially.
The collection explored a lighter color palette of nudes, pinks, and whites, offsetting the designer’s typically darker aesthetic. Her signature deconstructed silhouettes were reimagined with antique-inspired ruffled cuffs, sheer fabrics, and playful details like red cherries crafted from silicone.
However, this shift wasn’t about softening the brand’s edge, but rather elevating it through empowering juxtapositions: baby doll dresses paired with horse-bit headpieces; pink latex clinging to white lace in statement skirts and dresses; dramatic 19th-century-inspired ruffles erupting from jackets; and subtle gothic spikes on bangles and belts – all defined the new territory for the brand.
This season also marked the debut of bags in the ready-to-wear line. Crafted with the same couture-level techniques, they seamlessly integrated into the collection, hanging effortlessly from the models’ arms to complete the looks – signaling the brand’s thoughtful expansion into everyday wear.
