A Sacramento man was freed on bail after allegedly shooting into ABC10’s lobby — only to be quickly picked up by the FBI, according to authorities.

The FBI took Anibal Hernandez Santana, 64, into custody Saturday on charges that he interfered with government-licensed broadcast communications, officials said.

The raving anti-Trumper is on a federal hold and ineligible for release. An FBI representative confirmed Hernandez Santana’s arrest in response to an inquiry from The Post.

Hernandez Santana is set to appear in federal court in Sacramento on Monday at 2 p.m. local time, with a separate state court appearance Tuesday at 3 p.m., according to the FBI and county jail records.

Police say the drive-by attack hit ABC10’s headquarters at 400 Broadway just after 1:30 p.m. Friday, striking the lobby window three times while the building was occupied. No injuries were reported.

Cops haven’t given a motive, but Hernandez Santana’s social media accounts are filled with anti-Trump screeds, including “Rules don’t apply if election was stolen. FIGHT!”

Investigators said they identified a vehicle linked to the shooting and moved Friday evening to arrest Hernandez Santana at an address in the River Park neighborhood.

He was first booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail around midnight on state counts of assault with a deadly weapon, shooting into an occupied building and negligent discharge of a firearm.

Bail was set at $200,000. He posted bond Saturday before the FBI rearrested him.

Local news broadcasts from the apartment complex showed a heavy police presence, including a SWAT team.

“We made eye contact,” a tenant named Angela told KCRA-TV, adding she heard officers order, “Get down on the ground or we’re going to shoot.”

Neighbor Destini Rich said she parked beside the suspect regularly.

“I’m always seeing him, like, coming and going,” Rich said.

Another tenant, Emily Alves, said, “He was a nice guy.”

“But then after hearing all this, we were we’re just like, ‘What? What happened?”

Police said a motive remains under investigation and declined to say whether a weapon had been recovered. The department thanked the FBI for providing resources.

Tegna, which owns ABC10, said all staff were safe and that the company had increased security.

“We can confirm that shots were fired into our station at KXTV earlier today. While details are still limited, importantly all of our employees are safe and unharmed. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement and have taken additional measures to ensure the continued safety of our employees,” Tegna said in a statement.

Gov. Gavin Newsom condemned the attack.

“While no injuries have been reported, any act of violence toward journalists is an attack on our democracy itself and must be condemned in the strongest terms,” his office posted on X.

“We stand with reporters and staff who work every day to keep communities informed and safe!”

The shooting followed protests outside ABC10 on Thursday over ABC’s suspension of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Police said no demonstrations were underway at the time of the attack but were examining any possible link.

ABC confirmed this week it had indefinitely pre-empted the long-running late-night program.

Disney executives pulled “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” off the schedule “indefinitely” after remarks the host made earlier in the week about conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s death.

Industry outlets said the decision came amid pressure on affiliates and corporate blowback, with Disney’s ABC removing the show and sparking demonstrations in Los Angeles and New York.
