Cultural movements are reshaping London, and Fashion Week crowds have taken notice. Just last week, far-right activist Tommy Robinson flooded the city streets — but Sierra Leone–born designer Foday Dumbuya is determined to flip the script. Through his label LABRUM, he champions the next wave of cultural leaders, weaving the African diaspora into every stitch.

For Spring/Summer 2026, LABRUM transformed the Central Hall of Westminster into a stage for cultural dialogue. Live music from Northwest London’s Balimaya Project electrified the space, fusing West African rhythms with UK jazz as the collection came to life, each look pulsing with movement and meaning.

Titled “Osmosis,” LABRUM’s SS26 collection places immigration front and center, spotlighting traditions that transcend countries, generations, and identities. The runway became a timeline in motion: opening looks referenced the early days of tailoring, with sharp suiting pulled and deconstructed on classic foundations. Braided rope and gilded embellishments added a poetic nod to African craftsmanship, while passport-stamped blazers told tall tales of new beginnings. Military-inspired co-ords marched in next, complete with commemorative brooches — a reminder of heritage, resilience, and pride.

And of course, LABRUM’s ongoing partnership with adidas made a return, previewing fresh running gear, kicks, bags, and accessories that opened a new chapter.

Take a closer look at LABRUM’s SS26 collection in the gallery above.
