In a new content update for Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, SEGA has announced that Muzan Kibutsuji, the ultimate villain from the series, is now a playable character. Players who download the latest patch can select Muzan in Versus Mode, both locally and online. This free update is available for users with the existing game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam.
In addition to Muzan, an Infinity Castle Character Pass paid DLC has also been announced, which brings seven new character packs to the game. The new characters are featured in the recently released Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie and will be launched in periodic updates starting this fall. The character pass will introduce Kaigaku first, followed by Zenitsu Agatsuma (Infinity Castle version), with the full roster also including Tanjiro Kamado, Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho, Doma and Akaza. Players can opt for the full pass to unlock the entire set or purchase individual character packs. Release dates and additional information will be shared in the coming weeks.
