Justin Theroux (The Mosquito Coast) is set as a lead opposite Jude Law and Andrew Garfield in Apple TV+’s upcoming limited series Wild Things about entertainers Siegfried & Roy, from Only Murders In the Building co-creator/showrunner John Hoffman.

Based on the Apple Original Podcast, Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy, the series tells the wild ride relationship tale of two of the greatest showman-magicians in history who, along with their white tigers, are tasked with turning Sin City into a family-friendly destination. The duo push the concept of illusion versus reality to the extreme, personally and professionally, until tragedy reframes and opens a mystery surrounding their last fateful Las Vegas show.

Law stars as Siegfried and Garfield as Roy. Theroux will play Steve Wynn, who signed the duo to a five-year, $57.5 million deal to perform at his Mirage hotel. The series is set to go into production this fall.

Hailing from Apple Studios, the limited series is produced by Imagine Entertainment and executive producer Brian Grazer, Tony Leondis and Kathy Ciric for Imagine Entertainment, Matt Shakman, who will directs the pilot episode, Law and Garfield. Showrunner Hoffman executive produces and directs. The podcast’s Will Malnati and Steven Leckart also executive produce.

Known best for his work in HBO and Damon Lindelof’s The Leftovers, Theroux can most recently be seen in Netflix series Running Point. He starred opposite Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder in Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2. He also starred in HBO’s limited series White House Plumbers, opposite Woody Harrelson and in Apple TV+’s The Mosquito Coast. Theroux is repped by Lighthouse Management & Media, CAA, and Felker Toczek Suddleson McGinnis Ryan.
