LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A Lauderdale County man had his bond revoked after court records show he was involved in three police chases in the last four months.
According to court documents, on May 11, at about 1:45 a.m. Nakiyeo Aamir Malone was charged with the following after a police chase he was in:
- First-degree possession of marijuana
- Class B attempt to elude
- Failure to dim lights
A few months later, on Sept. 11, at about 4:06 p.m., Malone was charged with class C attempting to elude after being involved in another police chase where he refused to pull over, driving 20 miles over the posted speed limit.
The next day, on Sept. 12, at about 2 p.m., he was involved in a third chase, when a state trooper tried to pull him over. Records said he was driving at a minimum of 85 MPH within a 45- to 55-MPH speed zone on US-43 and AL-20.
The criminal complaint said when Malone was eventually stopped, he was found with almost 29 grams of opioid pills.
This time, he was charged with:
- Class B attempt to elude
- Trafficking opium
- First-degree possession of marijuana
Court records show that on Sept. 16, District Judge Will Motlow revoked Malone’s bond.
