Police are searching for several suspects after a man was killed in a drive-by shooting in South Los Angeles.
The shooting occurred on July 28, 2020, near the 1300 block of West 69th Street around 2:40 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim, Dominic Ladon Gooden, was standing outside when multiple suspects in two vehicles suddenly pulled up, exited their cars and opened fire, striking him.
He collapsed onto the ground and the suspects fled the scene. Since the deadly shooting, investigators have been searching for leads and evidence, but the case has remained unsolved.
On Sept. 18, 2025, LAPD released images of two suspect vehicles wanted in connection with the murder. The vehicles are described as:
- A gray 2013 Nissan Sentra four-door sedan
- A silver 2005 Mercedes-Benz C-320 four-door sedan
A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the suspects’ identification and conviction.
