LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A special operations team arrested a man who is now facing drug charges after searching his home in Lauderdale County.
On Wednesday, Agents with the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home along County Road 283 in the Cloverdale area.
According to the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was obtained due to drug dealing activities by someone who lived at the home.
The Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team went inside and started to search the home which led to authorities finding approximately 5 grams of fentanyl and 4 grams of methamphetamine.
Additionally, agents found various pieces of paraphernalia including necessary items used for distributing drugs.
Bradley Kevin Bruce, 37, of Killen, Alabama was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking in Fentanyl
- Unlawful Poss of a Controlled Substance
- Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
The Florence Police Department, Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office, and the Florence/ Lauderdale Special Operations Team all assisted the Lauderdale County Drug Task with the incident.
