PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — A Gurley man is facing various charges after being pulled over by authorities in Priceville early Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday around 12:40 a.m., the Priceville Police K-9 Unit pulled a vehicle over near the intersection of Point Mallard Parkway and Marsha Avenue.

Police told News 19 that the vehicle came to a complete stop after merging onto I-65 southbound at mile marker 333.

PPD identified the driver as Richard Bradley Mackusick, 45, of Gurley.

Following the traffic enforcement portion of the stop, officers learned that Mackusick had a no-bond nationwide extradition warrant issued by the US Marshals Service for a probation violation related to a previous weapons charge.

Upon further investigation, officers found a quantity of generic Viagra, Suboxone, drug paraphernalia, and an assortment of checks, debit cards, credit cards, driver’s licenses, and social security cards belonging to various individuals.

According to police, Mackusick was arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail. He is facing charges of trafficking in stolen identities, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription medication, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

His bond has been set at $6,600, and a hold has been placed for the US Marshals Service.
