PHOENIX — Celebrity chef Nik Fields, who has made a splash on various Food Network shows, is bringing a fast casual coffee shop and salad bar to the heart of downtown Phoenix.

The Collective by Chic Chef will be a combination of the Grind Coffee Shop & Entrepreneur Hub and the Mix Gourmet Salad Bar.

It will be located near the intersection of 3rd and Van Buren streets.

“Fast casual doesn’t have to feel ordinary,” Fields said in a release. “At the Collective, we’re serving food that’s fresh, elevated and designed for today’s busy, health-conscious community. It’s not just about eating quickly, it’s about eating well in a space that inspires connection.”

The Collective is meant to provide a relaxed environment for students, professional meetings and people looking to relax.

Its interior design has velvet seating and a modern vibe.

What will be on the Collective’s menu?

The menu is going to integrate locally sourced, organic, farm-to-table produce with unique breves, matcha and espresso.

Specialty olive oil, vinegars and spices will be available at the Mix Salad Bar, along with fresh toppings.

They will be providing reusable VIP tumblers, salad bowls and stainless steel straws.

Its set to open in September.
