How’s that for stepping out in the nude?
Today in London, A-list actress Margot Robbie posed at the London photo call for “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” in a bra and pencil skirt set designed by Thierry Mugler in 1998.
The minimalist vintage look marks a departure from the star’s over-the-top method dressing for her summer 2023 blockbuster, “Barbie,” which featured dozens of designer ensembles and accessories befitting a life-sized doll.
Styled by Andrew Mukamal with nude Christian Louboutin stiletto heels and similarly hued sunglasses from the buzzy Khaite x Oliver Peoples collab, Robbie posed with co-star Colin Farrell on the rooftop of the Corinthia Hotel, which overlooked the storied city.
She arrived on the scene covered up in a soft beige swinging coat with long sleeves, but quickly shed the outerwear to show off her shoulders on the uncharacteristically sunny day.
Robbie’s makeup also reflected this more “natural” tone, with the star opting for a bit of blush and lip gloss along with buffed nails. Her grown-out blond hair was parted in the center, smoothed and curled slightly at the ends.
Robbie — who has been out of the spotlight since giving birth to her first child, a son, last fall — is always a favorite on red carpets, especially during awards season.
She last turned heads while on the “Barbie” press circuit, earning nominations for the BAFTA, Critics’ Choice, Golden Globe and SAG Awards for best actress. As a producer of the film, she also earned a nomination for the Academy Award for best picture.
With the scent of autumn barely in the air, we know awards season is just around the corner. No matter what Robbie wears, we’re sure she’ll stun from head to toe.
