MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. (WHNT) — The North Alabama State Fair will be taking place on September 8-14 in Muscle Shoals.
Visitors will be able to enjoy some delicious fair food, experience a week of live entertainment, and get on some of your favorite rides that the North Alabama State Fair has to offer.
As far as entertainment, you can expect to see the following:
- Show-Me Swine Racers
- Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean
- Demolition Derby
- Tickled Pink Petting Zoo
- Gospel Sing Off
Fair food is always something people look forward to. There will be a variety of options including sweet funnel cakes, crispy corn dogs, fluffy cotton candy and warm elephant ears.
Visitors will also have the chance to save up to $10 on ride & gate combo tickets. You must purchase those tickets by 5 p.m. Monday. The advance sale ride and admission combo ticket is good on any one fair day. This ticket is valid for fair admission and an unlimited ride armband for one person only.
Parking on site will be free for visitors. Children under 6-years-old will also be admitted for free. However, rides for children under 6 are not free. Individuals 7-years-old or older will be admitted for $10 per person, rides are also not included with this admission.

- Monday – Friday: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 12 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
- Sunday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
You can see the Carnival Midway hours below:
- Monday – Friday: 5:00 p.m. – approx 11:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 12 p.m. – approx midnight
- Sunday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
On Saturday, September 13, children 12-yearunder get admitted free until 4pm. Sunday, September 14 will be Senior Citizens Day. Seniors ages 65+ will be admitted to the fair for free.
