EXCLUSIVE: Signature Entertainment has picked up UK and Irish rights to Josh Gad (Beauty and the Beast) and Kaya Scodelario (The Gentlemen) crime comedy Adulthood from Rocket Science.
The crime comedy focuses on siblings Megan and Nathan who discover a dead body, long buried in their parents’ basement, sending them down a rabbit hole of crime and murder. Billie Lourd (Booksmart) and Anthony Carrigan (Superman) also star.
The feature is directed by Alex Winter (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure), written by Michael M.B. Galvin (Fat Kid Rules the World), and produced by Scott Kroopf (Limitless) & Winter, Russell Hollander (Flight Risk) and Lisa Wolofsky (Tow).
The deal was negotiated between Signature Entertainment’s Acquisitions and Development Manager Katie Wilkinson-Javes and Rocket Science’s Director of International Sales Claire Taylor.
Rocket Science will continue sales at the TIFF market.
