Yungblud is paying respect with his latest look.
The rocker turned heads on the VMAs 2025 red carpet on Sunday, going shirtless in a leather jacket and matching low-rise pants.
But it was his jewelry that carried a special sentiment, as he completed the statement-making look with the gold cross necklace that late Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne gifted him.
Osbourne, who passed away at the age of 76 this July, gave his protégée his own gold necklace while recording a music video for Yungblud’s hit song “The Funeral” in 2022.
The young rocker returned the favor three years later, giving Osbourne a custom cross necklace of his own during the “Crazy Train” singer’s last-ever show this July.
Yungblud, who’d formed a close friendship with the “Miracle Man” singer, posted a touching Instagram tribute to Osbourne after his death later that month, saying: “Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own.”
“I didn’t think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room,” the star continued, adding that he plans to play Black Sabbath’s “Changes” each night “for the rest of my life.”
While he’s not nominated, Yungblud — whose real name is Dominic Harrison — is slated to take the stage at New York’s USB Arena tonight for a tribute to the late rocker, alongside Nuno Bettencourt and Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith.
When asked what we can expect from the moment, the star told Billboard, “good ‘ol rock and roll in the name of the king.”
