The Los Angeles Rams are honoring their home city’s vibrant Latino and Hispanic community in their 2025-26 NFL regular season opener against the Houston Texans.
“Vamos Rams” is Sunday’s theme – and the team is celebrating in style even before the game starts.
The Mariachi Rams, the first official Mariachi band for an NFL team, will be performing the National Anthem alongside Los Angeles Fire Department personnel presenting the colors; Rams season ticket holders will hold an 80-yard American flag during the anthem. After the first quarter, the Mariachi Rams will be joined by upcoming singer-songwriter Macario Martínez for a special performance.
Halftime entertainment will be provided by Mexican-American disc jockey and producer DJ Deorro.
During the game, the Rams will broadcast a special Mariachi Ride Along video throughout the stadium that includes Martínez in a custom lowrider, which will be on display in the Upper AA Plaza for fans to take photos.
For fans who are 21 and older, there is a $6 drink special for Corona Premier and Corona Extra between 11 a.m. through 1 p.m. — or while supplies last.
It’s not just music and entertainment that fans will enjoy at the “Vamos Rams” game, as fans who get to the stadium first will get an exclusive Vamos Rams 2025 Schedule magnet. They will be available at all gates until they run out.
The Rams, as part of the NFL Latino Youth Honors campaign, have selected a Latino boys’ high school football player and a girls’ flag football player to be recognized on the field before kickoff as Latino Youth Honor Award nominees. The league will eventually select eight finalists from all NFL team nominees to receive a grant award and an invite to Super Bowl LX.
Team staff are also getting a taste of the action, quite literally, as Fiesta Martin Mexican Grill will provide lunch; the restaurant is a “Certified #RamsHouse,” a small business affiliated with and supported by the Rams, team officials explained. Fans, on the other hand, will get to try many new food options that are making their debuts on Sunday.
Of course, there will be limited edition merchandise too. A “Somos Rams” T-shirt will be unveiled at the game to support L.A.’s immigrant community; all net proceeds will be donated to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) and benefit their Wise Up! High School Program and California Dream Network (CDN) college program.
The Rams and Texans game kicks off at 1:25 p.m. PDT at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. In addition to being broadcast nationally in English, Spanish commentary is available on KWKW 1330 AM.
