Kristin Cavallari dodged a barrage of questions about her supposedly measly divorce settlement at LAX.
On Friday, a TMZ reporter hounded the former reality star at the airport, asking about her ex-husband Jay Cutler’s recent criticism of her. However, Cavallari stayed mum and refused to answer any questions.
In June, the “Laguna Beach” alum, 38, claimed on her “Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour” podcast that she never “got a penny” from the former NFL player when they split.
“I didn’t get any money from our divorce, so let’s just clear that up. Thank you,” she said.
Last month, Cutler, 42, fired back at his ex’s claims.
“Let’s think about this logically. ‘Not a penny.’ OK. Married for, I don’t know, seven years or so, three kids,” he said during an August episode of his “Take It Outside” podcast.
“You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It’s online. You can see the contract from year to year and the total amount at the end of 12 years,” the former Chicago Bears quarterback continued.
“So, you go to divorce and each side gets a lawyer and then you go to court and there’s a judge.”
Cutler, who raked in over $120 million during his 21-year NFL career, opined that there’s “not a judge in the state of Tennessee” that would have signed off on a divorce agreement that would allow him to “keep every single dollar” he made during their marriage.
The former athlete also said Cavallari’s skincare and jewelry company, Uncommon James, was a “marital asset” because it was created during their union.
Cutler went on to claim Cavallari’s comments were “irresponsible,” “reckless” and “borderline slander.”
“It’s insanity. It’s completely false, completely untrue. It is, it just is. I’ve got a divorce decree. I’ve got something that’s signed by the judge — it’s like, 67 pages — it says the number breakdown,” he added.
Although he declined to give an exact number, he did promise that it was “definitely not zero.”
Cavallari and Cutler announced their split in 2020, and their divorce was finalized two years later
The exes share three kids: Camden, 13, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 9.
