On Sunday night, the 2025 Video Music Awards will take place, an exciting event hosted by LL Cool J, featuring performances by Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone, Tate McRae, J Balvin, and Alex Warren.
How to Watch 2025 Video Music Awards

This is the first time that MTV’s 2025 Video Music Awards, VMAs for short, will air at the same time on CBS. This will be LL Cool J’s second time hosting the VMAs, but his first time as a solo host. The last time LL Cool J hosted was in 2022, and he was a co-host alongside Jack Harlow and Nicki Minaj.
All eyes will be on Lady Gaga tonight, as not only is she performing on the show tonight, but she also leads all nominees with 12 nominations. Some of the awards Lady Gaga is nominated for are Video of the Year, Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.
Bruno Mars is nominated in 11 categories as well, while Kendrick Lamar has 10 nominations. Sabrina Carpenter and ROSÉ have eight, and Ariana Grande and The Weeknd have seven.
Meanwhile, three music legends, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, and Ricky Martin, will be honored tonight with career achievement awards.
With so much excitement and so many big names set to be featured tonight, the 2025 VMAs is not an event that music and entertainment fans will want to miss.
