Grande entrance, indeed.
Ariana Grande arrived at the VMAs 2025 red carpet on Sunday, looking radiant in a custom black-and-white polka dot Fendi dress complete with a pale pink peplum.
Styled by Law Roach, the “Supernatural” singer wore her hair in her signature ponytail, complete with a bow made from the same fabric as her on-trend dress.
“And then THIS happened….. WE ARE BACK,” Roach wrote on Instagram, while giving fans a sneak peek at the style.
The self-described image architect walked the red carpet alongside his famous client, even wearing a matching polka dot bow on his crystal-covered suit.
For her part, Grande, 32, completed her look with subtle Swarovski studs and a swipe of her signature winged eyeliner.
Grande is nominated for seven awards at this year’s ceremony: video of the year, best long form video, best pop video, best direction, best cinematography, best visual effects for her short film “Brighter Days Ahead,” and best pop artist overall.
The 26-minute video was released in March alongside “Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead,” the deluxe edition of her 2024 “Eternal Sunshine” album.
The project, which Grande co-directed, sees her transformed into an elderly version of Peaches, a character she introduced in the music video for “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” in a futuristic story about memory — erasing it, rewriting it, and starting fresh.
Though she’s earned noms nearly every year, Grande hasn’t attended the VMAs since 2018, when she walked the red carpet with then-fiancé Pete Davidson wearing a silver strapless mini dress and a $93,000 engagement ring.
She performed “Rain On Me” remotely with Lady Gaga at the 2020 VMAs in a Mugler latex mini, space-age makeup, and dip-dyed blonde pigtails.
The “7 rings” singer has a packed year ahead: On November 21, she returns to the big screen as Glinda in “Wicked: For Good,” the second part of the hit musical adaptation that earned her an Oscar nomination for supporting actress.
Next summer, she’s set to embark on her Eternal Sunshine Tour, kicking off on June 6 in Oakland, Calif. and wrapping up in London on August 23.
