The San Francisco 49ers are still dealing with injuries to their offensive stars, as Jauan Jennings is now questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

49ers WR Jauan Jennings is questionable to return today due to a shoulder injury.

Jennings was sidelined through training camp due to a lingering calf injury. Right before Week 1 began, he received an adjusted deal that added up to $3 million in incentives.
While the 49ers were hoping that Jennings would start the 2025 season on the right foot, he is now being held out due to a shoulder injury sustained against the Seattle Seahawks.
During the telecast, it was stated that Jennings “could barely lift his arm.”
At the time of this writing, the score is currently 13-10, with the 49ers trailing their divisional rivals. All the help is needed on offense, and San Francisco losing Jennings for the remainder of the game is going to be tough to deal with.

With Jennings out, the wide receivers that the 49ers have are Ricky Pearsall and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. The team might have been in a worse spot had Christian McCaffrey also been ruled out.
Thankfully, McCaffrey was able to take the field despite being hit with a calf injury.
For Jennings he put together two receptions for 16 yards, and has now been taken out with a questionable status. The 49ers had better hope that the injury he suffered is only minor, and he can take the field in Week 2.
San Francisco is still down Brandon Aiyuk, who is recovering from an ACL injury that he suffered in 2024.
Jordan Watkins and Trent Taylor are out, and Demarcus Robinson remains out due to a suspension. Quarterback Brock Purdy is running out of options on offense.
For now, there will be more tests to determine the extent of the injury that Jennings suffered.
