A sky full of stars descended on the Toronto Film Festival Friday night, with A-listers including Sydney Sweeney and Ryan Reynolds leading the arrivals.
The iconic festival – which kicked off Thursday and runs through Sept. 14 – featured many of the entertainment industry’s most illustrious personalities promoting an impressive lineup of films.
Sydney Sweeney swept onto the red carpet in a sumptuous pink satin corseted dress, and was later seen at the premiere of her movie “Christy” in a plunging black lace and velvet gown.
Cillian Murphy arrived for the premiere of “Steve” in a distinctive black suede suit, and Shailene Woodley – who also starred in “Christy” – rocked a caped minidress in fall-ready olive green.
Perhaps nobody embodied the spirit of the festival more aptly than Ryan Reynolds, who donned a brown suit with a Canadian maple leaf shirt for the premiere of his “John Candy: I Like Me” documentary.
