Summary
- Danish fashion house FINE CHAOS has collaborated with Yu-Gi-Oh! on a Fall 2025 collection, which debuted at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
- The collection, inspired by the creative director’s childhood passion for the game, is available now at the FINE CHAOS web store.
As gaming and fashion become increasingly intertwined, the Japanese trading card Yu-Gi-Oh! has entered the arena (or rather, the runway) with a collaboration spearheaded by Danish fashion house FINE CHAOS. Following the apparel collection’s debut during Copenhagen Fashion Week FW25, the range has officially dropped ahead of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 2025 World Championships in Paris.
Far from being a marketing gimmick, the collection emerged from the passion of creative director Marc C. Møllerskov, who has been collecting the cards from a young age. “As a collector with over 62,000 cards, Yu-Gi-Oh! has been part of my life since childhood. To work now with the very universe that shaped my imagination is both surreal and inspiring,” he said in a statement. “This collaboration is about more than clothing — it’s about unlocking and combining worlds.”
Unveiled on the August 8 runway show, the collaboration is now available online; however, FINE CHAOS and Yu-Gi-Oh! shared that the partnership will continue for three years. Though Yu-Gi-Oh finds its origins in 1996 as a Manga by Kazuki Takahashi, the series and the trading card game continue to see popularity — especially as millennials and Gen Z lean heavily into gaming nostalgia. Just this past March, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL video surpassed 80 million downloads worldwide.
