The headline match of the day comes on the women’s singles draw side, with No. 3 seed Coco Gauff taking on No. 23 seed Naomi Osaka. They have played each other five times. This is the first time Gauff and Osaka have met at the U.S. Open since 2019. Gauff has won three of the last four matches.
Meanwhile, on the men’s singles side, top-seed Jannik Sinner looks to continue his success against No. 23 seed Alexander Bublik. In the six matches between the two, Sinner holds a 4-2 edge, but Bublik has won two of the last three. In an amazing feat, Bublik has yet to lose a game on his serve during this U.S. Open.
