PHOENIX — The final Maricopa County Home and Garden Show of the year will take place in Scottsdale at the end of September.
The event take place at WestWorld of Scottsdale, located at Westworld Way and 94th Street, and will run from Friday, Sept. 26 through Sunday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“This is the last show of the year and we’re looking forward to providing an outstanding Home Show for everyone,” Show Manager Katie Jones said in a press release. “With only $10 admission and free parking, attendees can participate in make and take activities, explore home improvement products and services, talk with the experts and more. We are also excited to continue our ‘Billboards to Bags’ initiative with our fashionable upcycled totes.”
The show will have free consultations and more than 1,000 home improvement exhibits offering deals for attendees.
What attractions will the final 2025 home and garden show have?
There will be a dream kitchen showcase where Arizona contractors will compete for “Best in Show” with their own version of a dream kitchen. Each display will feature trending tile, appliances, countertops, backsplash, lighting, fixtures and more.
In addition, there will be a new ultimate pumpkin pop-up experience where Brandy Davis — a professional 3D pumpkin carver — will transform pumpkins. Some guests will have a chance to carve with Davis, but space is limited.
Attendees will also be able to speak with local plant experts in the plant pavilion and buy from a selection of houseplants, cacti, succulents, exotic varieties, trees as well as garden decor.
Besides the plant pavilion, the event will also have a living green house made up of indoor plants. Attendees can also bring a plant to repot.
On the education side, there will be gardening workshops including:
- A create your own mini air plant terrarium to bring home
- Customizing your own fall-themed shower bundle
- Learning how to spot pests, prevent infestations and treat common plant issues
- Starting an edible garden
- Using soil and worms to boost plant growth, guests will even be able to take soil and worms home.
For the more crafty attendees, there will make-and-take craft workshops such as building carnivorous terrariums, weaving mini dreamcatchers, making fake fall pumpkin sprigs, using upcycled glass to make plant art and using watercolors to paint a fall-themed scene.
There is a kid’s corner that will also have free craft workshops and take-home projects for kids aged four to 12.
The main stage at the show will have seminars throughout the weekend, including composting basics, what you need to know not to kill your houseplants and proper tree care. The stage will also have entertainment with a magic show and The Golden Grannies.
The Maricopa County Home and Garden Shows have started upcycling past Home Show billboards into reusable bags, which it was recognized for by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.
