PHOENIX — A new Ace Hardware store recently opened in Mesa, and to celebrate, officials will host a series of events in September, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Artie’s Ace Hardware, located near Ray and Ellsworth roads in Eastmark at the Arrival at Cadence North center, features a 25,000 square-foot store and an 18,000 square-foot garden and lumber center. The store offers a large selection of products, including paints brushes, grills, power tools and more.
For the opening, the new store will host a series of events from Sept. 12-14. These events include a 20%-off sale, food giveaways, a DJ, a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 13, a hot air balloon that will fly 75 feet over the store and more.
The new Mesa location joins the existing Paradise Valley location that opened 50 years ago.
“Twelve years ago, I started looking into Eastmark for my second location,” owner Artie Holm said in the announcement. “There is so much young talent here, and I’m excited to be a part of their journeys, whether it be renovating their homes or creating the perfect outdoor entertainment space.”
Artie’s Ace Hardware in Mesa is open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Artie’s Ace Hardware joins other tenants at Arrival at Cadence North, including V’s Barbershop, Jersey Mike’s, Luna Grill, Nutrishop, Black Rock Coffee, Bosa Donuts and Point 22 Tavern.
