Taco Bell is rewinding to the Y2K era with the launch of its Decades Menu on Sept. 9, featuring throwback favorites under $3.
The limited-time lineup includes five nostalgic classics that fans have begged to see again:
- Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos — the crunchy sequel to the Nacho Cheese original.
- Double Decker Taco — a soft bean-filled tortilla wrapped around a crunchy taco shell.
- 7-Layer Burrito — a vegetarian dish stacked with beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream, veggies and cheese.
- Chili Cheese Burrito — a once hard-to-find favorite of chili and cheddar wrapped in a flour tortilla.
- Caramel Apple Empanada — the golden-crusted dessert filled with apples and caramel.
Taco Bell is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Crunchwrap Supreme with a $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box.
As part of the promotion, Taco Bell is staging three Tuesday Drops of Y2K merch drops, including a blinged-out Ed Hardy hat (Sept. 2), a throwback digital watch (Sept. 9), and a vintage-style tee (Sept. 16). The merch will be available to Taco Bell rewards members.
The throwback digital watch will be a Crunchkin, a virtual companion reminiscent of the popular Tamagotchi toy. This virtual companion grows as customers purchase Y2K items, unlocking mini-games and special rewards.
