The Power(ball) surge continues.

The Powerball jackpot soared to $950 million after no winning ticket was sold for Wednesday night’s drawing, as the lottery’s drought nears three months.

Players had the chance to win a whopping $861 million prize, the sixth-largest in the game’s history, surpassing the historic $841 million jackpot won in Michigan on January 1, 2024.

The winning numbers were 9, 12, 22, 41, 61 and the red Powerball 25.

Saturday night’s drawing is estimated to be worth $950 million, with a cash option of $428.9 million.

While the jackpot wasn’t won, three lucky players from Mississippi, Ohio and Virginia walked away with $2 million when they won the Match 5 + Power Play option.

Three other ticket holders from Arizona, New York and Virginia scored $1 million for matching all five white balls.

Powerball is on a near three-month drought, not having been won since a ticket worth $204.5 million was sold in California on May 31.
