Mindy Kaling‘s new Hulu series Not Suitable For Work has cast five actors to lead the comedy: Ella Hunt (Saturday Night, Horizon: An American Saga), Avantika (Mean Girls, Sex Lives of College Girls), Will Angus (Prom Dates), Jack Martin (La Brea) and Nicholas Duvernay (The White Lotus).

Not Suitable for Work follows five work-obsessed twenty-somethings striving for professional success and, if they have time, personal happiness in Manhattan’s most glamorous neighborhood, Murray Hill.

Hunt will play AJ Pascarelli, a charming but intense first-year analyst at the most prestigious investment bank in New York.

Avantika will play Abhinaya “Abby” Chilukuri, a fashion-obsessed, savvy assistant to a demanding celebrity stylist.

Angus will play Davis Beau Bradley Barrett III, a high-energy finance bro, but underneath his fratty exterior, Davis wants to love and be loved.

Martin will play Josh Teitelbaum, a smart, idealistic, and occasionally sanctimonious New Yorker (born and raised, he’s the first to tell you).

Duvernay will play Kel Washington, a charming, slightly anxious medical student struggling to ace his exams while plotting his big break as an actor.

Kaling created Not Suitable for Work and executive produces with showrunner Charlie Grandy (The Sex Lives of College Girls, The Mindy Project) and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Howard Klein. Kaling International produces the series in association with Warner Bros. Television, where both Kaling and Grandy are under overall deals.

Hunt is repped by UTA, United Agents, and Schreck Rose Dapello; Avantika is repped by UTA, ColorCreative, Schreck Rose Dapello; Angus is repped by UTA, Mosaic, Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern; Martin is repped by CAA, MGMT Entertainment, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes; Duvernay is repped by UTA, Rebel Creative Group, and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
