Edward and Bella are back as Fathom Entertainment and Lionsgate are set release the five films of the Twilight saga in a nationwide movie marathon from October 29 to November 2.
Screenings for the five-night engagement include new, exclusive roundtable chats for each of the films with Meyer, producers Wyck Godfrey and Karen Rosenfelt, Gillian Bohrer, former Lionsgate Co-President, Production and Erik Feig, former Co-President of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group.
“Twilight fans are some of the most passionate anywhere, making this iconic movie franchise the epitome of a modern-day classic which Fathom Entertainment is thrilled to help bring back to the big screen in this special cinematic engagement,” said Ray Nutt, Chief Executive Officer, Fathom Entertainment. “With our partners at Lionsgate, we celebrate 20 years since Stephenie Meyer’s first Twilight book was published and encourage fans to relish The Twilight Saga.”
Little, Brown Books will publish three collectible book editions, all releasing on September 30, to celebrate the franchise: TWILIGHT: Deluxe Collector’s Edition (hardcover), TWILIGHT: 20th Anniversary Edition (paperback), and THE TWILIGHT SAGA DELUXE HARDCOVER COLLECTION
The Twilight Saga films, which launched the careers of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, have grossed more than $3.3 billion worldwide.
Festivities also include a U.S. national tour of 60 cities from 9/12 to 11/30 with a live-to-film experience with a live band, big screen and 1,000 candles, the companies said as “musicians will take the stage to perform the beloved film score in perfect synchronization with the original movie.”
Warner Music Group is re-releasing the Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse movie soundtracks on 10/31.
Other elements of the Twilight fest include the recent relaunch of
The Twilight Saga YouTube Channel with special clips and bonus content, and bew Twilight merchandise.
The Forever Twilight in Forks Festival will run September 11–14, withg fans from around the world invited to Forks, Washington where the saga is set.
