As of late, Tyler, the Creator has been toggling between dropping new videos for CHROMAKOPIA and DON’T TAP THE GLASS. After sharing the official visual for fan-favorite CHROMAKOPIA cut “Darling, I” featuring Teezo Touchdown, Tyler is back in his DON’T TAP THE GLASS era with the music video for “Sucka Free.”
Shot by Jasper Dolphin and edited by Lazaro Rodriguez, the nostalgic visual leans into a lo-fi aesthetic, featuring Y2K-era effects and titling. The rapper also dons a pair of the “Pine Green” Nike SB x Air Jordan 4s in one of his two looks for the video; the first outfit is a green-hued one, while the second is rooted in reds, with Tyler wearing a GOLF le FLEUR* “Sun Seekers” crewneck.
Footage from Tyler’s DON’T TAP THE GLASS release party also appears toward the end of the video, with the on-screen text “HERE’S SOME CLIPS FROM THE FUNCTION WE THREW FOR DA NEW ALBUM!!”
“Sucka Free” follows up on Tyler’s recent, highly cinematic visuals for “Darling I,” “Sugar On My Tongue,” and “Stop Playing With Me.”
