The movie is an adaptation of the Parker book series by author Richard Stark and follows Parker (Mark Wahlberg), a professional thief who recruits a new team that includes Grofield (LaKeith Stanfield), to pull off the heist of a lifetime. The two-minute trailer promises a gritty, high-stakes caper, complete with fast-paced action, witty dialogue, and a dramatic confrontation between the two leads. The synopsis reads, “Parker (Wahlberg), along with Grofield (Stanfield), Zen (Rosa Salazar) and a skilled crew stumble onto a score that pits them against the New York mob in this gritty, clever caper.”
