Summary

  • LEGO has re-released a 2,862-piece Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired set
  • The set, an homage to the Black Pearl, Captain Jack Sparrow’s pirate ship
  • The build includes eight minifigures, Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa, Gibbs, Cotton, Anamaria, and Marty

The LEGO Group has announced a highly anticipated new set, bringing a legendary ship from the world of pirates back in brick form. The new LEGO Icons: Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship is an homage to the iconic Black Pearl, the shadowy ship from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise that was formerly known as the Wicked Wench, known for its all-black, omious build.

The set, aka #10365, which is aimed at the 18+ age bracket, is a massive and detailed build. It is made up of 2,862 pieces and comes with eight exclusive minifigures, which should be familiar to fans of the films. The crew includes Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa, Gibbs, Cotton, Anamaria, and Marty.

This is not only a fantastic build but also a collector’s item that honors the enduring legacy of the films. The set is designed to be a challenging and rewarding building experience for adults and a stunning display piece. It’s a perfect example of how LEGO continues to celebrate iconic pop culture moments through brick-built form. Arriving on Septembe 15 online, the set cost $379.99 USD.
