K-pop’s iconic boyband BTS unveiled the trailer today for “BTS Movie Weeks,” a series of four remastered concert films, ahead of their highly-anticipated comeback.
From September 24 to October 5, the films will screen in more than 2,500 theaters in over 65 countries.
Recollecting some of the boyband’s record-breaking concerts over the last eight years while looking ahead to the group’s imminent comeback, the trailer’s text reads: “After all this time, we’re live. Our most beautiful and brightest moments.”
The trailer was released on the group’s Youtube channel, BangtanTV.
BTS confirmed last month that a full-length album will be released in spring 2026, alongside a world tour, marking the group’s long-awaited return.
In 2022, the group went on hiatus, as members Jin, Suga, J-hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jung Kook sought to complete Korea‘s mandatory military service and pursue solo activities.
Trafalgar Releasing has partnered Korea’s HYBE for the global film rollout.
In the first week, from September 24, two films will be screened: BTS’ 2016 performance “On Stage : Epilogue” and 2017’s “Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour —The Final.”
In the second week, the remaining two features will be released in theaters: 2019 world tour “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself — London” and 2021’s “Muster Sowoozoo.”
