Summary
- Piaget reveals Khaki Editions of its Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon and the Altiplano 910P
- The watches, with a yellow gold and khaki green palette, feature a 2 mm and 4.3mm thickness, respectively
Piaget has expanded its Altiplano Ultimate Concept line with two Khaki Editions that marry ultra-thin watchmaking with jewel-like craftsmanship. Arriving in a warm yellow gold and rich khaki green palette, the two new iterations draw on the Maison’s legacy in mechanical elegance and technical audacity.
The Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon measures a mere 2mm thin, its cobalt-alloy case serving as the movement’s mainplate in a feat of seamless integration. Through the sapphire caseback, the new caliber 970P-UC reveals satin-brushed and polished surfaces, while engravings of Piaget’s motto, “Always do better than necessary,” and “La Côte-aux-Fées” pay homage to the brand’s birthplace. Subtle cross-shaped motifs on the ratchet wheel, balance wheel and screws underscore the bridge between heritage and innovation. A khaki-green calfskin strap, woven in the Maison’s new “Polish Mesh” pattern, completes the jeweler’s artful execution.
Joining the Tourbillon is the Altiplano 910P Automatic, just 4.3mm thick and now offered in yellow gold for the first time. Its khaki green dial and matching alligator strap highlight the ultra-thin caliber 910P’s green-finished bridges and slate-grey peripheral rotor. Echoing the Tourbillon’s design, the same cross-shaped pattern graces the dial screws, uniting both editions in spirit.
Priced at $41,300 USD for the Automatic and $705,000 USD for the Tourbillon model, Piaget’s Altiplano Ultimate Concept Khaki Editions are available for inquiry via the Maison’s website and boutiques.
