Described by Aēsop as a “new expression of amber,” “Above Us, Steorra” opens with vibrant sparks of bergamot, radically unfiltered cardamom and peppery elemi, evoking a meteor’s fiery trail across a cool void. Its heart unfolds in rich, resinous layers of Cypriol Heart, labdanum and frankincense, before returning to a spicier, woodier cardamom accent. A rum-like vanilla bean undercurrent rekindles the amber warmth in the base, creating a modern expression that moves between bright spice and deep resin.
By dialing down sweetness and powders in favor of amplified woods and resins, Aēsop delivers an amber accord alive with movement and depth.
