Olivia Jade Giannulli shared that she is using therapy to overcome “uncomfortable changes” following her breakup with Jacob Elordi.
The influencer, 25, got candid in her YouTube vlog and told fans that she talked to her therapist the day before to help her tackle the “nervous” feelings she has during this “transitional” part of her life.
“I think summer gets painted as this like carefree, perfect, kind of month or two, and I’m here to remind you that it’s totally normal if you’re feeling a little off or a little nervous during big transitions or seasonal transitions or whatever it may be,” Giannulli said in the video posted Sunday.
She also described herself as “somebody who has used therapy to fight a lot of nerves and uncomfortable changes” and “someone who has used therapy for a long time to navigate many situations in life.”
“I feel like my therapist has very much supported me during this season of life and change and I’m very grateful that I have an outlet and somebody to talk to,” she continued.
Giannulli added that she is also grateful that her therapist has “helped [her] see things in a different light and gives [her] new perspectives.”
Her recent breakup isn’t the only major change in her life. The LA native is moving to New York after she spent the summer in Paris.
“I’ve been feeling so many different emotions,” Giannulli said of her cross-country move in the vlog.
“I feel like committing to this move and really letting it sink in that I’m moving across the country for the first time away from my family,” she continued.
Olivia — whose parents are “Full House” alum Lori Loughlin and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli — revealed that she has “never lived away from [her] family.”
“I think, while moving is a very exciting and happy time, it’s definitely bringing up a little bit of stress just because change is always a little nerve-wracking.”
The influencer’s emotional vlog comes just weeks after she split from Elordi. The pair had a four-year on-again, off-again romance.
A source confirmed the breakup to People earlier this month, although neither has addressed the split themselves.
Olivia and Elordi, 28, first sparked romance rumors in December 2021 when they were spotted on a coffee date.
The duo were rumored to have split for the first time in August 2022, with a source telling Us Weekly at the time that the duo “enjoyed spending time together,” but ultimately didn’t want to be tied down to one another.
They appeared to rekindle their romance by May 2023 as they were once again spotted affectionately grabbing onto each other while running errands.
They allegedly broke up for second time in January 2024, though multiple sources denied that claim to Page Six — saying that they were “just extremely private.”
