The NYPD detective accidentally shot by another cop while helping to take down a would-be carjacker in Queens last week received a round of applause as he left Jamaica Hospital on Monday morning.

Wounded officer Corey Fisher was surrounded by loved ones and fellow Finest, including NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, as he was wheeled out of the medical center sitting up on a stretcher.

“We are grateful Detective Fisher is going home to his family today, and for the outstanding care he received at Jamaica Hospital,” Tisch tweeted.

Fisher survived gunshot wounds to his left leg and right hand during the chaotic moment and had casts on both when he left the hospital.

The 12-year veteran of the department was assigned to a Queens unit when he and other officers swarmed on repeat offender Kevin Dubuisson during a reported car robbery.

The 28-year-old suspect was hit with a slew of charges over the weekend tied to an alleged crime spree that ended with the gunfire.
