NFL Hall of Famer has been very vocal in since his retirement from the pros as the current Cleveland Browns situation has him weighing in.

Warner, a former NFL MVP, took aim at the Browns after their preseason finale, against his former team now the Los Angeles Rams criticizing the team’s management of rookie quarterbacks, Dillion Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.

Warner tweeted, “I was really looking forward to the competition between Dillon Gabriel & Shedeur Sanders in last preseason game, I know it plays out like this sometimes, but a bummer that both didn’t have the same opps to make plays! DG played well again but had good opps to make plays, SS didn’t those same opps so it was hard to make much of an assessment!”

The veteran analyst’s comments underscore growing concern about the Browns’ quarterback decisions.

Sanders faced heavy pressure throughout the game, limiting his chances to showcase his abilities, while Dillon Gabriel appeared to have had a clearer path to make plays.

Warner’s critique highlights how unequal opportunities in preseason can impact rookie development and team evaluation.

The Browns now face questions about how they manage young talent.

Warner’s along with other NFL greats and analyst’s assessment signals that the league is watching this very closely, and the organization must ensure its rookies are setting them up to succeed.Without doing so they run the risk of hindering the growth of promising quarterbacks like Sanders.
