Some big names are playing on Sunday on the men’s side. At 5:00 p.m., American Brandon Nakashima takes on Jesper De Jong, but it’s the 6:00 p.m. window where the top matches take place. No. 7 seed Novak Djokovic faces off against unseeded Learner Tien at Arthur Ashe Stadium, then at 8:10 p.m., No. 13 seed Daniil Medvedev faces Benjamin Bonzi over at Louis Armstrong Stadium.
As for the women’s side, the afternoon gets going at 3:00 p.m. when No. 10 seed Emma Navarro faces Wang Yafan. The next seeded player to play is No. 16 seed Belinda Bencic at 6:00 p.m., who takes on Zhang Shuai.
Then at 7:00 p.m., No. 7 seed Jasmine Paolini faces Destanee Aiava, and finally at 8:10 p.m., No. 4 seed Jessica Pegula faces unseeded Mayar Sherif in the final women’s match of the day.
