Skip Bayless has never been one to hold his tongue. Even in his later years he’s still not holding back.

The former ESPN and Fox Sports analyst Bayless didn’t tiptoe around the issue and made his emotions clear criticizing Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, claiming the coach is mishandling rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

In a recent video, Bayless called Stefanski “trash” and suggested the Browns should consider trading Sanders to a team that would better support the young quarterback’s development.

The controversy stems from Sanders being pulled during a crucial moment in his final preseason game, as Sanders was pulled from the game in the final 2 minutes in favor of Tyler Huntley, a decision that raised eyebrows among fans and analysts alike.

“He got sabotaged today,” Bayless said. “They rigged it against him. He had no shot, man. None, Bayless said. “I’m outraged. I’m sickened. I’m saddened by the way Shedeur continues to be treated in the NFL by those sorry-ass Browns and sorry-ass Kevin Stefanski.”

Bayless’s comments have sparked a larger debate about Cleveland’s quarterback situation and Stefanski’s coaching approach.

Some analysts defend the team’s methods, but others argue that Sanders’ potential is being stifled under current management.

Former NFL quarterback Derek Carr echoed the skepticism, questioning why Sanders wasn’t allowed to finish a two-minute drill, highlighting concerns about missed development opportunities for the rookie.

As the Browns prepare for the regular season, all eyes will be on Stefanski and Sanders and their quarterback situation.

Fans will be watching closely to see how the team will manage Sanders and the other quarterbacks on the roster and if the high-profile rookie will get a shot to see action during the regular season.

Whether Sanders can overcome this buzz and controversy will remain to be seen.
