PHOENIX — FlightSafety International is set expand its operations in Arizona by opening an aviation training center at the Mesa Gateway Airport.
The new 100,000-square-foot Mesa Learning Center will feature full-flight simulators and advanced devices for aviation training.
The center’s groundbreaking is set to take place in October, while the facility is expected to open in early 2028.
“This expansion is a reflection of FlightSafety’s continued growth and long-term investment in the future of aviation training and safety,” FlightSafety International President Barbara Telek said in a press release.
The center is expected to create approximately 100 jobs, while thousands of aviation professionals, including pilots, maintenance technicians and cabin crews will all utilize the facility for training.
“As global demand rises, we’re scaling our operations to support our customers and advance the highest standards of safety and preparedness. The new Mesa Learning Center strengthens our ability to deliver world-class training while supporting the aviation workforce in Arizona and across the industry.”
In addition to its training centers located across the world, FlightSafety International also has a Tucson Learning Center.
