Update: Patta and Nike have continued to work closely in recent years, dropping one sneaker project after another. Last month, Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo offered us a preview of what to expect next: a Patta x Nike Air Max Dn8. Now, a complete preview of the shoe has been shared ahead of its anticipated release next month. As noted previously below, the duo makes use of the sneaker’s wavy overlays, combining patent leather in black with gray paneling. Callouts to Patta come courtesy of the tongue and one of the rear’s Air chambers. European retailers have shared a tentative launch date of September 1 for the shoe, which is possibly just a placeholder. This early glimpse, shared via Sabajo’s Instagram, signals a premium and distinct take on Nike’s latest Air innovation.

The Air Max DN8, which Nike introduced earlier in 2025, extends the brand’s Dynamic Air technology across the full length of the foot, using eight pressurized Air tubes for added cushioning, flow, sensation, and motion. Patta’s interpretation of this cutting-edge silhouette brings a refined, elevated aesthetic to the performance-focused model. Patta’s version of the Air Max DN8 immediately stands out with its choice of materials. The majority of the upper and tongue are equipped with shiny patent leather, providing a luxurious and eye-catching finish that elevates the shoe beyond its standard construction.
