Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson delivered a great performance on the field, in his game today however his on field has been diluted by off field drama. The situation involves his family.

Reports surfaced that Johnson’s father, Mark Johnson, was involved in a physical altercation with Avery’s older brother following the Wildcats’ 24–21 loss to Iowa State in Dublin, Ireland.

Footage of the incident has since gone viral and circulated online, drawing widespread attention and sparking discussion among fans and analysts around the team and its players.

Despite the chaos, Johnson went 21 of 30 through the air for 273 yards and two touchdown passes, while he earned another score on the ground, standing out as one of the few bright spots in Kansas State’s disappointing loss.

The incident raises questions about the impact of off-field drama on team morale and public image.

It has yet to be seen how this altercation will affect Johnson going forward as he plays the most important position on the team and will have to be a leader amongst his teammates and avoid let this distraction take away from their mission throughout this season and allow his play to do the talking.
