The violent repeat offender whose alleged attempted carjacking spree in Queens resulted in an NYPD detective being shot and wounded by “friendly fire” was brought to a hospital Saturday instead of criminal court to face the charges against him.

Four-time convicted felon Kevin Dubuisson was seen smiling while cops from the 109th Precinct in Flushing led him into an ambulance Saturday afternoon.

Dubuisson, 28, was charged with robbery, assault, menacing, attempted robbery and two counts of attempted assault after cops put an end to his one-man crime spree Friday, which involved three attempted carjackings in a span of just a few minutes.

It’s unclear what prompted the detour for medical attention — or when Dubuisson, who was clad in grey sweatpants, a grey sweatshirt and handcuffs, will face arraignment on the latest slew of charges.

The chaos started when Dubuisson – who was already on parole for attempted robbery charges in Brooklyn – first allegedly tried to steal a car parked at a gas station on Parsons Boulevard near 20th Avenue around 8:40 a.m., police said.

He was scared off by gas station employees, according to NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch and surveillance footage obtained by the Post.

Two minutes later, the maniac allegedly tried to carjack a 32-year-old woman on Parsons Boulevard, before allegedly ambushing a 52-year-old Uber driver on the service road along the Whitestone expressway, Tisch said during a news conference.

Cops responding to the Uber driver’s 911 call caught up with Dubuisson as he turned onto 22nd Road, and tried to block in the black Toyota Highlander, the police commissioner said.

The confrontation ended with three officers opening fire shortly before 9 a.m.

Det. Corey Fisher – a 12-year police veteran assigned to the department’s Queens North Warrants Squad – was shot in his right hand and left leg during the scuffle.

Fisher was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in a police cruiser. Mayor Eric Adams said his injuries were “not life threatening” and he was expected to make a full recovery.

Sources said Dubuisson’s rampage actually began Thursday evening, when he allegedly stole two cars and crashed one into a construction site just hours after he was arrested for jumping a subway turnstile, and released with a desk appearance ticket.
