Edwards and Rosta were battling it out through two rounds, and it appeared that Rosta had a leg up due to his expert wrestling. However, Edwards kept the pace and used his legs early and often.
In the above video, Edwards throws a jab and feint, and follows it up with a head kick that sends Rosta to the canvas. Rosta was hit with one more punch, but he was already out before that punch occurred.
Now, Edwards is an official world champion, securing his first title as the PFL World Tournament winner. On top of winning his first belt, Edwards will also walk away with a huge $500,000 payday.

Edwards will have some time off, but it is believed that his next opponent will be the current PFL middleweight champion, Costello van Steenis. Steenis entered the smart cage following the fight to engage in his first stare-down with Edwards.
Edwards defeated Impa Kasanganay in the PFL World Tournament first round, followed by a decision win against Josh Silveira in the semi-finals. His final matchup was against Rosta, and he came through in fine style.
Fabian is the brother of former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, who was cornering him during the fight. The moment that Rosta was knocked out, Leon came rushing into the cage.
This is the third title fight that Fabian has engaged in, missing out on middleweight gold twice against former champion Johnny Eblen. With the world tournament title in his possession, he can now win the unified strap when he takes on van Steenis.
