PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Two Birmingham men were arrested after a traffic stop led to officers finding multiple items inside of a vehicle on Wednesday night.
The Priceville Police Department pulled a vehicle over along I-65 near Mile Marker 334 around 11:15 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Dwight Anthony Dominique Orr Jr., 32. The passenger was identified as Londrisk Cortez Mack, 36, both from Birmingham.
Following the initial traffic enforcement, officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, officers found a handgun that was confirmed to be stolen by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Priceville Police, various drug paraphernalia, multiple identification documents, and bank cards linked to other people were also found inside the vehicle.
Orr and Mack were both arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail.
Upon further investigation, officers learned that Orr has a violent criminal history, including multiple drug trafficking offenses and multiple federal charges related to firearms and narcotics.
He is currently on federal probation until 2027 and recently violated his probation in March.
PPD said that Mack also has a criminal background with several violent and drug-related offenses.
Dwight Anthony Dominique Orr Jr. was charged with Receiving Stolen Property (firearm), Certain Persons Forbidden from Possessing a Firearm, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Londrisk Cortez Mack was charged with Trafficking Stolen Identities and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Authorities said that the duo’s bond amounts are pending based on their current federal and state probation statuses, as well as a review by a Morgan County Circuit Judge.
