Little Mountain Little League of Vancouver opened the tournament with a shutout loss, but bounced back on Sunday in a big way, run-ruling the Australian team in a 12-0 victory. Already comfortably ahead, Vancouver scored eight runs in the top of the fifth to cement the victory. Arek Aubuchon was 2-for-2 with three RBI, and Caleb Jackson hit a two-run triple in the victory.
Aruba won its first game, but fell into the lower bracket on Monday with a 4-0 loss to the Chinese Taipei team.
