Two of Disneyland’s popular Magic Key passes will be going back on sale on Aug. 26, the theme park resort announced Tuesday.
The Imagine and Enchant keys, the two lowest-tiered passes, will be available to guests.
The keys provide fans with access to the parks on select dates, subject to availability and pass type. Passholders also receive select discounts on food and merchandise, as well as Lightning Lane Multi-Pass+, the park’s paid line-skipping service that replaced the FastPass program.
Here’s a breakdown of what each pass includes:
Imagine Key (available to Southern California residents only)
Price: $599
Includes: 25% off standard parking, 10% off select merchandise, 10% off select dining, and 25% off Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
Enchant Key
Price: $974
Includes: 25% off standard parking, 10% off select merchandise, 10% off select dining, and 25% off Lightning Lane Multi Pass.
California residents can choose to purchase a pass through monthly payments. For the Imagine Key, the monthly payment is $34.17 for 12 months, and for the Enchant Key, the monthly payment is $65.42. Each pass requires a down payment of $189.
For the Imagine Key, passholders can hold two reservations at a time; for Enchant Key passholders, that number increases to four.
The two Magic Keys will be available no earlier than 9 a.m. PST. Potential pass holders can enter the online waiting room starting at 8:45 a.m.
However, according to the resort, joining the online queue doesn’t guarantee anyone can purchase a Magic Key. Passes have sold out in the past despite some fans waiting online for hours in hopes of buying one.
For those who can’t purchase a Magic Key right now, Disneyland offers guests the option to be notified when passes go back on sale.
Disneyland launched the Magic Key program in August 2021, following the retirement of its popular annual passports during a year-long shutdown of Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
